Sixty percent of PA farmland is dedicated to crops.  Farmers export forest and food products.  With an annual production of 500 million pounds of mushrooms, the state leads all others for that crop.  Other important crops include winter wheat, buckwheat, potatoes, oats, rye, barley, truck crops, apples, cherries, peaches, and grapes.
