Pennsylvania Real Estate for sale
An increasing number of Pennsylvania real estate owners are turning to PA real estate auctions to conduct Pennsylvania farmland auctions to market their dairy real estate for sale or other large parcels of land.

The foremost choice to assist sellers with Pennsylvania land auctions or Pennsylvania farm auctions is working with Certified Auctioneers.  Certified Auctioneers can develop Pennsylvania land auction proposals tailored to the needs of each seller.  By creating a detailed proposal, the Certified Auctioneer pinpoints for the seller the steps to a successful PA land auction or farm auction of his property.

Pennsylvania Farm Land Auction
In 2001, Pennsylvania farmland occupied 7.7 million acres of the state.  That represents 59,000 farms.  Many are part-time operations but 44 percent brought in over $10,000 a year in sales.  The value of agricultural exports in 1999 was $960 million.  Soils tend to be more agreeable on real estate in southeastern Pennsylvania.  Most farmers do not farm real estate in the less-fertile valleys in Central Pennsylvania or land in higher elevations.

Forty percent of the Pennsylvania farmland is dedicated to pasture.  Yet the sale of livestock and livestock products account for 69 percent of Pennsylvania farm income.  Leading the way, milk production is worth over $1.5 billion annually.  In 2000, that represented 6.7 percent of the nation's total supply.  Poultry production from broilers, eggs, turkeys, and chick totaled $644 million in 2000.  Cattle, hogs, and sheep totaled $1.59 million during the same period.

Sixty percent of PA farmland is dedicated to crops.  Farmers export forest and food products.  With an annual production of 500 million pounds of mushrooms, the state leads all others for that crop.  Other important crops include winter wheat, buckwheat, potatoes, oats, rye, barley, truck crops, apples, cherries, peaches, and grapes.

The Keystone State is home to over 12 million.  The state capital is Harrisburg and the largest city is Philadelphia.  Historical points of interest such as Valley Forge National Historical Park, the Liberty Bell, and Independence Hall are plentiful.  Bordering states include New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, and Ohio.
